Damaris Chinemerem Nnajiofor, Esq.

Damaris Chinemerem Nnajiofor, Esq. is a distinguished legal practitioner with over 8 years of post-call experience in legal practice, corporate governance, policy development, and organizational systems strengthening. She holds an LL.B and LL.M from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and a BL from the Nigerian Law School, Yenagoa Campus, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2019.

A committed scholar, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law with a focus on International Law, Human Rights, and Criminal Justice Reform. She is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb).

Damaris has demonstrated exceptional leadership across multiple platforms, serving as Secretary, NBA Young Lawyers Forum (YLF) Awka Branch; Chairperson, NBA YLF National Child Advocacy Committee; President, Legal Aid CDS Group (NYSC, 2020); Vice President, CLASFON (NLS Yenagoa, 2019); and Vice Presidential Candidate, LAWSA (2016). She is also a recipient of the “Most Enterprising and Industrious Student” Award (NLS, 2019).

As the Principal Partner at Gredan Legal Practitioners, she provides expertise in corporate advisory, compliance, dispute resolution, and property & asset management. She also serves as Legal Officer and Company Secretary to over 10 organizations and has supported the legal structuring and compliance of over 200 startups. Through the Gredan Training Institute, she leads corporate training sessions that help SMEs and growing companies strengthen their governance and legal frameworks.

An active researcher and writer, Damaris has published scholarly works in reputable journals and continues to contribute to critical discourse on international law, child protection, access to justice, and legal system reform. Known for her integrity, compassion, and people-centered leadership, she remains committed to raising ethical leaders and advancing legal development within Nigeria and beyond.

Chioma Onuoha, Esq. (LLB, BL, AICMC, MTI) is an exceptional legal practitioner, administrator, and emerging policy leader dedicated to strengthening justice delivery, youth development, and community empowerment in Nigeria. She has distinguished herself through her service in student leadership and public-interest law, consistently demonstrating clarity, professionalism, and purpose-driven excellence.

A graduate of Abia State University and the Nigerian Law School, Augustine Nnamani Campus, Chioma has served in several strategic leadership capacities, guided by her belief that leadership is ultimately an opportunity to serve.

In legal practice, Chioma brings a strong passion for justice, dispute resolution, women’s rights, and community-centered advocacy. She has contributed to legal empowerment initiatives, legal aid programs, prison outreach projects, and social justice campaigns. Her work reflects diligence, empathy, and a deep commitment to using the law as a tool for societal reform and public good.

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (AICMC), and a member of the Mediation Training Institute (MTI).   Deborah Ezinne Arubike holds an LL.B. from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where she earned the prestigious Senior Advocate of Lawsa (SAL) rank in her penultimate year for outstanding academic and extracurricular excellence.

    A seasoned advocate, Deborah captained her team to victory as Family Supervisor in the 2025 CLASFON Annual Moot Competition (CAMC) and secured a win in the Real Affairs Global Presidential Debate. Her leadership was further demonstrated in her role as Chapter President of CLASFON UNIZIK.

    Committed to continuous professional growth, she has completed the Lekan Bamidele Virtual Internship Programme (LBVIP) and the Budding Lawyers Space Mentorship Program.     She possesses strong leadership and coordination skills, having served as Research Team Lead for the University of Lagos Green Club and Co-Lead of the Outreach Team at the Human Rights Clinic, where she organised impactful advocacy initiatives and community programs.
